We invite you to join us for VBS from July 15th to July 19th!

My dear Ann,[1]

I have been seized with the most violent & painful influenza & sore throat that I ever had. The latter made last night the most painful I ever experienced. I can scarcely breathe or swallow, & yet am always swallowing I shall go to bleeding gargling etc. this evening & fear I shall not be able to see you until Wednesday. Though I am in severe pain I am in no danger. I hope you will be better when I see you.
