Precious Williams is the Chief Operating Officer at From Start 2 Finish Counseling Services (Hampton, VA). She is married to Pastor D.L. Williams of Piney Grove Baptist Church (Virginia Beach, VA) and they have a blended family of seven children. Precious graduated from University of Phoenix with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology (2009) and obtained her Masters Degree in Psychology (2014). After graduating, she served as Program Director at Eastern Virginia Adult Care (Gloucester, VA) and Regional Director at Second Chances Comprehensive Services (Hampton, VA). Precious believes that it is her calling to serve underprivileged individuals diagnosed with severe mental illnesses to help them become productive citizens. In an effort to raise mental health awareness she has established community partnerships and forums in her city to debunk mental illness myths.
In 2014 she noticed a growing trend in the breakdown of blended families. In response, she focused her energy on unique challenges faced by blended families and hosted Piney Grove’s 1st Annual Blended Family Conference. This conference was designed to teach skills to strengthen and unify step-families. She currently volunteers as a Child First Facilitator with Chesapeake Juvenile and Domestic Court to assist divorcing parents in making healthy custody choices. Precious has managed to find a balance between work and family. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and working alongside her husband in ministry.
