Pastor D. L. Williams is a native of Mobile, AL and is the first-born son of the three children born to Sheila Williams. He felt the call of God on his life at age 15, and officially began his preaching ministry at Aimwell Baptist Church, under his spiritual father, Dr. Michael E. Jackson. He is an alumnus of Alabama State University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in the field of education; and he is an alumnus of Samuel Dewitt Proctor School of Theology, where he earned his Master of Divinity Degree in 2007. Pastor Williams obtained the favor of the Lord when he found a good thing in his sophisticated & classy queen, First Lady Precious Williams, whom he shares the honor and privilege of parenting their blended family together.
In 2013, Pastor Williams was called by God, and elected by the membership of Piney Grove Baptist Church of Virginia Beach, VA., to serve as Senior Pastor. There, he proudly serves and seeks to lead this growing & incredibly loving church into being a bible-based church that is fueled by vision and driven by purpose. It is his desire to exhaust himself for the kingdom, while using every ounce God's anointing to transform lives, make disciples, impact the community, and lead the lost into the arms of our loving Savior.
Throughout the course of his ministry, he has been privileged to preach and teach the Word of God both nationally and internationally over the last 20 plus years. In 2017, he became a published author with the release of his life changing book, The 40-Day Financial Fast, which aims to help people recondition their mindset about money, and take control of their financial lives in just 40 days!
It is his prayer, that wherever God opens a door to minister, that somebody is encouraged, empowered, & inspired to live kingdom lives that both represent Christ, and that glorify God.
